Le Louis XV, three stars inside the Hôtel de Paris
Alain Ducasse's historic table, now led in the kitchen by chef Emmanuel Pilon, retains its three Michelin stars for a Mediterranean cuisine built around the 'naturalité' of its ingredients. Booking well ahead is essential, even more so over Grand Prix weekend.
Two stars: L'Abysse and Blue Bay
L'Abysse Monte-Carlo, focused on the sea and Japanese-inspired flavours, and Blue Bay under chef Marcel Ravin, drawing on Caribbean and Mediterranean influences, round out the top of Monaco's rankings with two stars each.
A particularly rich one-star scene
Monaco also counts several one-star tables, including Yoshi, the Japanese restaurant carrying on Joël Robuchon's legacy inside Hôtel Métropole, Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, Le Grill at the Hôtel de Paris, and Elsa, recognised in particular for its responsible approach to fine dining.
Book early — it's almost a requirement
Grand Prix weekend remains one of the busiest periods of the year for every one of these addresses. Booking several weeks, if not months, ahead is strongly recommended for dinners from Thursday through Sunday.
